      Received a cashier check for $2,650.00 Woodforest National bank. Was insetructed to deposit the check and go to Walmart and buy Itune gift cards and then I would need to buy 3 money orders.The name to call was David Swillo.. The bank told me it was a scam and I turned all info over to the banks Faund Investigation Dept., If you deposit the check and use it you will then owe your bank the money. I was told I was not authorized on the check even with my name on it. Check is no good..on the envolope that this was sent has a name of James Patton, 821 Hall Road, Seagovile, TX 75159. . I am going to report this to my post office and the commissinor office. Mystery shoppers if it is legit do not do transaction like this.

      Received a cashiers check for $2650.00 with instructions to text DaVid on 607-301-3107 from Walmart parking lot. The routing number on the check doesnt exist for the bank it was drawn on. This is a scam.

      Received this phone number in a letter from Ask Market LLC. Letter enclosed a Cashiers Check for $2,995.00 from the Point Loma Credit Union. Letter requested that I be a "Secret Shopper" at a local Walmart. Called the Point Loma Credit Union about the check to see if it was good. Was advised by the Point Loma Credit Union that the check was fake. If you get this type of letter do not cash check and do not send the sender any money.
